On October 8 2018 the Intergovernmental Panel (IPCC) released its Special Report on the Global Warming of 1.5 degrees. Kirsten Zickfeld, a lead author of the report, commented on the report’s finding in numerous interviews. She says the world is at a “critical juncture” if it is to avoid a potentially devastating rise in global mean temperature.
